During the 2013 Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway, former NASCAR racer Kevin Harvick tangled with his then-Richard Childress Racing teammate and current Cup Series regular, Ty Dillon. Following the incident, Harvick spoke to the reporters about the same, suggesting that Richard Childress' grandson, Dillon has had everything served to him on a "silver spoon".

Kevin Harvick retired from full-time racing last year. Throughout his long and illustrious career, Harvick amassed 60 wins in the Cup Series, 47 wins in the Xfinity Series, and 14 wins in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Today, he serves as a NASCAR analyst for FOX. Besides that, he also co-owns the zMAX CARS Tour alongside Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, and Justin Marks.

Harvick was known as one of the most competitive drivers during his time. Therefore, he wasn't happy when Ty Dillon spun him out coming off of turn 1. Unfortunately, even Dillon spun out trying to snatch the second place from Kevin Harvick. However, that wasn't the end of the story.

The duo continued their battle following the caution. Although Dillon wasn't able to derail Harvick, the latter retaliated by parking his car right at the entrance of Ty Dillon's pit stall, blocking his entry.

Interestingly, Harvick left Richard Childress Racing the next year and joined Stewart-Haas Racing, after having spent 13 years in the Sprint Cup since filling Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s spot in 2001. Nevertheless, reports say that the decision to part ways was mutual.

"(Dillon) just dumped me. Exactly the reason why I'm leaving RCR because you've got those kids coming up, and they've got no respect for what they do in this sport and they've had everything fed to them with a spoon," Harvick said.
"So I cut him slack all day, and he just dive-bombs me in there, dumps me. It's a shame you've got to get taken out by some rich kid like that," he added.

Kevin Harvick was fourth in the Chase for the Sprint Cup season at the time, 25 points behind Hall of Famer and Legacy Motor Club owner, Jimmie Johnson.

"I'm sure he's tweeting something"- Ty Dillon on his beef with Kevin Harvick

Ty Dillon felt that it was Kevin Harvick who had taken the former's truck out of the race. Even then, he had expected Harvick to stay back after the race to talk it out. Harvick was nowhere to be seen. Reflecting on the same, Dillon said,

"To tear a truck up after the race and totally take us out, and then to not stick around after the race... to walk off and not even want to say anything to me... I'm sure he's tweeting something now about it," Dillon said [at 0:58].
"I used to look up to that guy but I guess he doesn't understand the circumstances of what's going on ... To tear a truck up and act like a punk on pit road... and stopping by my pit stall when my guys are coming out... that was pretty ridiculous. I'm not happy with him," he added.

Richard Childress was "very disappointed" in Harvick. However, he chose to handle things diplomatically, and therefore, said nothing to the then-RCR speedster. When asked about the same, he said,

"I've got too much class to say what I want to say right now. When I say it, I will say it to his face."
