The nominees for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2025 were announced a couple of days back, with the name of recently retired NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick missing from the list.

A total of 15 nominees were selected, of which five were handpicked for the Hall of Fame. The names include expert engine maker Randy Dorton as well as the first person to grab both the Xfinity Series and Truck Series championships; Greg Biffle.

The list also includes 3x Truck Series champion Jack Sprague along with three-time convertible division champion Bob Welborn and modified legend Ray Hendrick. Among the five candidates, three will be chosen for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Though Kevin Harvick's name was absent from the list, his two Xfinity Series championships, 2014 Cup Series title and 121 wins in over two decades of his career across all three NASCAR events birthed the Great Hall exhibit named ‘Kevin Harvick 4Ever A Champion.’

Per the eligibility criteria, a driver is eligible to be voted in during his third year of retirement. Harvick retired from professional racing in the 2023 season, so he will become eligible to be selected in 2026 for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2027.

What’s inside the Great Hall dedicated to Kevin Harvick?

In his 23-year-long Cup Series career, Harvick bagged 60 Cup Series wins with the most notable victories coming at the Southern 500, Coca-Cola 600 and the NASCAR All-Star Race. Furthermore, the legendary driver clinched three Brickyard 400 wins and the highly-coveted Daytona 500 in 2007.

To honor Harvick's commitment to the sport, the five championship-winning cars in which he won as a driver and owner were put on display. The list includes the #75 Spears Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo, #2 Richard Childress Racing Chevy, #9 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, Truck #2 Kevin Harvick, Inc. Chevrolet Silverado and #4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet SS.

Moreover, two Go-Karts, which were fielded by Kevin Harvick and his son Keelan, both of whom won the championship, were also put up for display. In addition to these, many other things such as his fire suit, trophy and helmet, were also kept as a memento.
