Ahead of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Kyle Larson raced for the $25,000-to-win Thursday Night Thunderbowl at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare on Thursday, August 15.
Driving the #57 sprint car for Silva Motorsports, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series champion Larson became the winner of the High Limit Racing event at Thunderbowl.
Kyle Larson, who is leading the NASCAR Cup Series points table, started the race from fifth and grabbed the lead for the final time on lap 26 of the 35. From there, he never looked back and held off Rico Abreu to claim the checkered flag.
It was Larson’s sixth straight win in a sprint car race, earning a prize money of $25,000.
Meanwhile, Rico Abreu finished runner-up, followed by current High Limit Racing points leader and Larson’s brother-in-law Brad Sweet, James McFadden, and Cole Macedo in the top-five. Tyler Courtney, Brent Marks, Zeb Wise, Chris Windom, and Parker Price Miller completed the top-10.
