Ahead of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kyle Larson raced for the $100,000-to-win Joker's Jackpot at Eldora Speedway on Thursday, July 18.
Driving the #57 sprint car for Silva Motorsports, the former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson finished 20th in the 2024 Joker's Jackpot at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Larson, who started the 40 laps of dirt track racing from the front row, had a mechanical issue in the closing laps and slowed down while running second before the final lap.
David Gravel, the current World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series points leader, won the High Limit Racing Joker's Jackpot. He took control of the race in the final seven laps after beating Kyle Larson and then Donny Schatz on the final lap to earn his biggest payday at the Eldora Speedway.
It was Gravel’s second win in his Kubota High Limit Racing career, earning a prize money of $100,000, the highest-paying amount in all of Sprint Car Racing this year.
Meanwhile, Donny Schatz finished runner-up, followed by current High Limit Racing points leader and Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law Brad Sweet, Justin Peck, and Rico Abreu in the top-five. Brent Marks, Logan Schuchart, Sheldon Haudenschild, Carson Macedo and James McFadden completed the top-10.
