Where did NASCAR champ Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch finish at USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway? Full results and leaderboard explored

Two former NASCAR Cup Series champions, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch, took part in the 83rd annual Turkey Night Grand Prix of the 2024 USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship at Ventura Raceway on Saturday (November 30).

Hendrick Motorsports star driver Kyle Larson started 10th and ended up finishing P20 in the 26-driver field at 1/5-mile dirt oval. Two-time NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, driving the #51B midget car in the Qualifying 1 once again, failed to advance into the 98-lap main event. He finished eighth in the qualifying 1.

Kyle Larson was looking good, running in the top five until Corey Day made contact with Larson’s #1K midget on Lap 56 in turn two that left him spinning to bring out the yellow flag. As a result, Larson has to restart from the rear of the field.

Meanwhile, Corey Day won the USAC 83rd Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura’s 1/5-mile dirt oval. He emerged victorious after leading the final 17 laps and held off the challenge of Buddy Kofoid to take the checkered flag. With the win, he earned the prize money of $15,000.

Buddy Kofoid, Daison Pursley, Jacob Denney, and Logan Seavey are in the top five. Gavin Miller, Justin Grant, Kale Drake, Jake Swanson, and Tanner Carrick completed the top 10.

NASCAR drivers Ty Gibbs and JJ Yeley also participated in the 83rd USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix but couldn’t qualify for the feature race. Gibbs and Yeley both finished 11th in their respective qualifying sessions.
