The 2024 NASCAR Truck Series Championship Race is finally done and dusted. The title-deciding race took place on Friday, November 8, and lasted for one hour, 44 minutes, and 20 seconds. It took place at the Phoenix Raceway and had 35 entries.
The Championship Race saw seven lead changes among three drivers and witnessed six caution flags.
Who won the NASCAR Truck Series Championship Race today?
Driving the #98 Ford for ThorSport Racing, Ty Majeski claimed his first career Truck Series Championship at Phoenix after dominating win in the Championship 4 race at a one-mile-long track.
Majeski emerged victorious when he grabbed the lead from his title competitor Grant Enfinger on Lap 95 of 150 and held off another title contender, Corey Heim, to cross the finish line in P1.
Majeski dominated the race from pole, winning Stage 2 and the leading 132 of the 150 laps before crossing the finish line by an impressive margin of 3.945 seconds ahead of Heim to grab the checkered flag. This marked his third win of the season and ThorSport Racing’s sixth Truck Series title, the most of any organization in the series.
Meanwhile, Corey Heim finished runner-up, followed by Christian Eckes, Nick Sanchez, and Grant Enfinger in the top five. Taylor Gray, Kaden Honeycutt, Connor Mosack, Ben Rhodes, and Layne Riggs completed the top 10.
