The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225 is finally done and dusted. The 20th race, the fourth of the playoff season, started at 4:30 pm ET on Friday, October 4, and lasted for one hour, 48 minutes, and 24 seconds. It took place at the Talladega Superspeedway and had 36 entries.
The Love’s RV Stop 225 saw 27 lead changes among many drivers and witnessed four caution flags.
Who won the NASCAR Truck Series race today?
Driving the #9 Chevrolet for CR7 Motorsports, Grant Enfinger secured his first win of the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series season in Friday afternoon’s playoff race at NASCAR’s longest track on the calendar. With the win, he becomes the first driver to advance into the 2024 season championship finale next month at Phoenix.
Enfinger emerged victorious when he held the field off following a restart with nine laps to go and stayed in the lead on the final lap when a caution came out, ending the race.
Enfinger led the race high 34 of the 85 laps, won Stage 2, and crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 0.041 seconds ahead of Taylor Gray to grab the checkered flag at Talladega. It marked the 11th career win for Enfinger.
Meanwhile, Taylor Gray finished runner-up, followed by Daniel Dye, Rajah Caruth, and Lawless Alan, who are in the top five. Christian Eckes, Ryan Reed, Stefan Parsons, Bret Holmes, and Spencer Boyd completed the top 10.
