Who won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race today?

Driving the #20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, Aric Almirola secured his third win of the 2024 Xfinity Series season at the 0.526-mile Martinsville track and earned a spot for his #20 car in the series owners’ Championship 4.

Almirola, who competes part-time in the Xfinity Series, dominated the race, sweeping both of the race’s stage wins, and then beat Sammy Smith and Chandler Smith in the closing laps to cross the finish line in P1.

The 40-year-old Florida native led 150 of the 250 laps and crossed the finish line with an impressive margin of 0.587 seconds ahead of Smith to grab the checkered flag. The win marked Almirola’s seventh of his Xfinity Series career.

Meanwhile, Sammy Smith finished runner-up, followed by Chandler Smith, Cole Custer, and Justin Allgaier in the top five. Sheldon Creed, Anthony Alfredo, Parker Kligerman, Jeb Burton, and Myatt Snider completed the top 10.

Drivers who advanced to the Championship 4 race are alongside AJ Allmendinger and Hill are Justin Allgaier and the defending Xfinity champion Custer.
