Who won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race today?
Driving the #2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, Jesse Love won the Ag-Pro 300 in a wild double-overtime finish. It marked the first career win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Love emerged victorious after saving enough fuel in double overtime. He grabbed the lead from Parker Kligerman at the start of the first overtime, but a multi-car accident caused by several drivers running out of fuel sent the race into double overtime.
The 19-year-old driver raced side-by-side with Leland Honeyman on the final lap before closing in on his first career win. Love crossed the finish line by a margin of 0.141 seconds ahead of Riley Herbst to score his maiden win at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway.
With a P17 result, finishing highest among qualified participants, Ryan Sieg won a $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus.
Meanwhile, Riley Herbst finished as runner-up, followed by Anthony Alfredo, Leland Honeyman, and Brennan Poole in the top five. Sheldon Creed, Caesar Bacarella, Matt DiBenedetto, Jeb Burton, and Cole Custer completed the top 10.
