NASCAR driver Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha Busch, playfully responded to her husband’s comments on her spotting skills. The pair are one of the most popular couples in the NASCAR circuit.
Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, who pilots the #8 for Richard Childress Racing, is one of NASCAR's most accomplished drivers. Busch has 231 career victories, including 63 in the Cup Series, placing him ninth on the all-time list. The #6 driver also holds an Xfinity Series championship and holds the all-time win records in both the Xfinity and Truck Series, further cementing his status as one of the sport's greatest drivers.
Recently, Kyle was asked whether his wife Samantha Busch had ever spotted for him in a competitive race. Responding to that question, he said (via @rcrracing on Instagram)
"No, she's never spotted for me. She's only been on the radio a few times when Brexton's been racing[...]When we're on the road though, like driving down the highway or whatever and I'm in my Chevy Tahoe going here to there. If there's like a weird angled stop sign and I can't see, I'll have her tell me like 'Hey, am I clear? Am I not clear?' So she'll tell me in those aspects[...] I'm not putting her on the radio though."
Sharing the post on her story, Samantha jokingly responded to the former NASCAR champion's comments, saying she's 'not cut out for it'. She wrote:
"My rights and lefts are questionable so prob not cut out for it and would prob be back seat driving him the whole time. 'Why did you let him pass? Were you close enough on the restart? Are you sure that's the restart lane you want to choose? I.m not sure I think we should pit.'"
The couple has been married for nearly 14 years. They dated for two years before their wedding on December 31, 2010.The couple welcomed their son, Brexton Locke, in 2015, and in 2022, were blessed with a daughter, Lennix Key Busch.
“I want to start a podcast”: Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha teases ‘lots of things’ in her future plans
Samantha Busch is a well-known advocate for infertility. She is also the author of the book Fighting Infertility, which is based on the stigma surrounding the concept of IVF.
Recently, the two-time NASCAR champion Kyle Busch's wife elaborated on her future plans, where she talked about raising awareness and providing support for individuals dealing with infertility and women's health issues. This was in response to a fan's query on her Instagram story, where Samantha was asked where she saw herself in five years.
"I am taking courses right now to get certified as an infertility coach and after that, I'd like to do some further education definitely on like cortisol healing and things with miscarriage and whatnot, but one big goal of mine is that I would love to work with clinics and hospitals and other groups and really just help educate those that work there, how to really have the emotional space for patients," she said.
I definitely want to start a podcast with infertility and all things women health and things like that so, lots of things to come," she added.
Meanwhile, her husband Kyle Busch, who missed the Cup Series playoffs for the first time in 11 years, has been one of the most impressive performers on the track since the playoffs began.
