NASCAR has started taking strict action against aggressive driving in the races, which caught the attention of Dirty Mo Media's insiders. The spotters highlighted that the "boys have at it" and "win at all cost" eras are dead in modern-day racing. They backed their claims by giving several examples from the 2024 season.

During the Xfinity Series championship race at Phoenix Raceway on November 9, 2024. NASCAR penalized Anthony Alfredo when Stefan Parson got rammed into the wall while the former exited turn two. Alfredo was first rammed into the walls before he chased Parson, but the sanctioning association slammed him with a penalty, making him stay in the pits for two laps.

Brett Griffin gave another example of Austin Dillon's win at the Richmond Raceway in August 2024. Dillon was allowed to keep his win but didn't get into the playoffs for sending Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano into the walls on the final lap. Griffin said about the situation:

"They've clearly taken away what we've been on this show for however many years we've been doing it—seven, eight. Win at all cost is dead. Austin dillon won at all costs, and he got destroyed. He got to keep the win, but he didn't get in the playoff, which is the most hypocritical bullst I've ever seen by the way." [00:16]

NASCAR suspended nine people this past week before the Championship Four race, and Freddie Kraft questioned the sanctioning association:

"My favorite, one of my favorite parts of that quote, We don't have an officiating problem at all. And the next quote was, We will make adjustments. Well, what do you adjust it?" [00:47]

The trio criticized NASCAR's VP Elton Sawyer, emphasizing that the VP came forward nearly half the season to make a statement after some call was made in the race. Kraft mentioned:

"If you're having to address the media damn near half the season, because, yeah, or you just do it where you do interview with your own company, so they don't ask any questions, and you're answering a question from an industry person." [01:09]

The trio concluded that Sawyer doesn't have the support of major media personalities like Jeff Gluck, Jordan Bianchi, and Matt Weaver over his decisions.

“What a disaster of a TV deal": Fans expressed criticism over NASCAR's broadcasting rights for the 2025 season

NASCAR journalist for FOX Sports Bob Pockrass shared an update on the new $7.7 billion-worth media rights deal the organization signed for the 2025 season. Fans were not impressed by the details of the new deal.

The new deal was signed at a 40% increase from NASCAR's previous $820 million contract with Fox and NBC. With the new agreement, the Stock Car Association aimed to push toward streaming. The new deal includes Fox, NBC, Amazon, and Warner Bros.

Bob Pockrass revealed the breakdown of the broadcast for practice and qualifying sessions. He wrote:

"Next year, for the first half of the year, Amazon Prime Video has Cup practice and qualifying (except Clash, Daytona, all-star, which FOX Sports still has) ... for second half, Cup practice and qualifying on truTV and Max."

Fans were disappointed with the new deal, and one of them wrote:

"What a disaster of a TV deal smh."

All the 2024 season's races were streamed on NBC Sports, MRN, and SiriusXM.
