Burton and Petty have been in a relationship since 2017 and they got engaged earlier this year. The couple shared this news via a joint social media post in March. Petty works as a dancer for Dance Productions - The Remix and is a High Point University graduate.

In his third full-time season with Wood Brothers Racing, former NASCAR driver Jeff Burton's son Harrison claimed his first-ever Cup Series victory in the second-last race of the regular season at the esteemed Daytona International Speedway. That win was also WBR's 100th overall victory in NASCAR.
Here's a look at Harrison Burton's first career Cup victory at Daytona:
The junior Burton is without a ride for the upcoming NASCAR season as he was replaced by the soon-to-be-defunct Stewart-Haas Racing driver Josh Berry in the #21 Ford Mustang. However, a surprise win and a 2024 playoff spot might have opened opportunities for the North Carolina native.
"There's been some interest" - Harrison Burton on his uncertain future after being released from Wood Brothers Racing
Harrison Burton believes his future in the NASCAR Cup Series will depend upon his performance in the 2024 playoff rounds. Before his triumph at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona, Burton had only one top-10 finish.
Burton's future is currently in limbo despite securing a win and a playoff spot this season. In a conversation with Steven Taranto of CBS Sports, Burton stated he was confident about being a "race car driver" next season and that he would look to make the most of the opportunity in the remaining races of the playoffs. Burton said:
"I think there's definitely been some interest because of that. I think it's important to win a cup race ride and show that you can. I think what we do with this opportunity, that we're in the playoffs, will need more. So try and put our best forward. And I do feel really good about kind of where I'm at."
"I feel like I'll be a race car driver next year. So that's always good. And you know, live to fight another day. So just excited to kind of stay where we are," he added.
However, a P31 finish in the first race of the Round of 16 has put him in 14th place on the playoff standings. He is now 16 points below the playoff cutline.
NASCAR will be next seen in action at Watkins Glen for the Go Bowling at the Glen race on September 15.
