NASCAR Cup Series driver, Chase Briscoe shared an anniversary message for his wife, Marissa Cooper Briscoe. The two, who are parents to three children, celebrated the fifth year of their marriage on November 30.
Briscoe and Marissa welcomed twins, Cooper Banks and Collins Ivy, in October this year, while their first son was born in 2021. The 29-year-old talked about his appreciation for Marissa in a post on Instagram.
"5 years ago today I officially tied the knot and out kicked my coverage! Happy 5th anniversary to the most incredible mother to our 3 kids and amazing wife! You seriously amaze me everyday and are the glue that holds our crazy household together. I love you! @marissabriscoe_," Briscoe wrote.
Briscoe will join Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 19 Toyota next year with his team Stewart-Haas Racing closing shop.
"Would be a lot to leave my wife for a week" - Chase Briscoe on dirt racing schedule
Chase Briscoe discussed his off-season dirt racing plans with his busy home life with twins and family duties. He is also focused on settling into his new role at Joe Gibbs Racing.
"Honestly, as of now I don’t have anything on the calendar. I am not going to do Chili Bowl, just with the twins and everything else. It would be a lot to leave my wife for a week. I don’t really know what my dirt schedule looks like. Right now, I am totally content not running anything, just with everything I have got going at home… trying to get my feet settled in JGR," Briscoe said (via Speedway Digest).
Few weeks back, Briscoe also talked about the tough situation when his wife Marissa was pregnant during the NASCAR races. She also had some complications after childbirth and had to visit the hospital twice.
Briscoe further mentioned in September that Joe Gibbs offered him a plane to use.
"Coach has been amazing. The last four or five weeks, like, he’s called me every single week, and we’ve set up a plan, just whether it’s the plane being here, you know, burst of the helicopter, whatever it was, just anything he can do to help. And even he’s called and texted Marissa, telling her that he’s praying for her. So it’s just been a really amazing thing," Briscoe said (02:29).
Chase Briscoe acknowledged it was tough to balance racing and taking care of the family.
