McCall Smith, wife of NASCAR driver Zane Smith, recently updated her fans on social media about the couple finally executing their honeymoon plans as their first anniversary approaches. With a growing audience of 12,000 followers, McCall frequently shares glimpses into her life, from lifestyle to family moments and NASCAR experiences.
Zane Smith and McCall Gaulding, who began their journey as teenage sweethearts, celebrated their wedding on January 11, 2024, in Charleston. The couple got engaged during a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race weekend in April 2022 and spent over a year meticulously planning their special day.
McCall recently posted a post-workout picture in the sauna on her Instagram story, in which she revealed her anniversary plans with her husband.
"It's finally our delayed honeymoon/anniversary trip week starting off the week strong with the gym and sauna session," McCall wrote.
Moreover, Zane Smith's wife had recently asked her fans if they had tried the cabbage soup cleanse before she tried it herself. However, after recently trying it, McCall shared her experience with the trending cleanse.
"I loved my detox cabbage soup so much last week, we're making it again! I ate it for like three nights straight, and plan to do the same this week. The actual 'diet' is to eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but I'm not good on a strict diet so I just did it for dinners and sometimes lunch if I was hungry!" she expressed
Zane Smith competed in his rookie full-time season with Trackhouse Racing in partnership with Spire Motorsports, driving the #71 Chevrolet. Over 36 races, he recorded 4 top-ten finishes, 2 top-five results, and an average finish of 23.194.
While road course ace Shane van Gisbergen replaced Smith, recent developments confirm his return to the Cup Series as the driver of Front Row Motorsports' #38 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. The former Truck Series champion will aim to refine his performance and capitalize on this opportunity during the 2025 campaign.
Zane Smith sets realistic expectations as he craves 'consistency' amid the natural quest for race win
Front Row Motorsports' newest driver Zane Smith recently outlined his expectations for the upcoming Cup Series campaign, following an uneventful year in 2024. Smith believes that while every driver wants to win races, he thrives for consistency.
In an interview with SiriusXM, the 25-year-old Californian said:
"We all wanna see a race win, get in the playoffs- that would be awesome,” Smith told SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. “But to me, I just wanna see consistency. It'd be awesome to try to run in the top-10 week in and week out.”
This opportunity comes after 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports were recently allowed to run as chartered teams in the 2025 campaign and also process their acquisition of a third charter from Stewart Haas Racing, who closed down operations after 2024.
The Cup Series will return for the clash at the historic Bowman Gray Stadium. Catch Zane Smith behind the wheel of FRM's #38 Ford on MRN, FOX, and SiriusXM at 8:00 PM Eastern time on February 2nd.
