Former Spire Motorsports driver Zane Smith's wife McCall is setting her sights on her 2025's to-do list. McCall recently took to Instagram where she posted a story, sharing her goals for the upcoming year.
As he endures a tough time in his motorsports career, former NASCAR Truck Series champion Zane Smith has been spending time with his family in the post-season. The 25-year-old driver can be often seen enjoying quality time with his wife McCall over their social media handles.
McCall, who is the younger sister of former NASCAR driver Gray Gaulding, is an active social media influencer, who frequently shares glimpses of her life. In a recent Instagram story, she shared a list of her objectives for 2025, particularly in partnership with ARMRA. She captioned the same:
"2025 goals: healthier, hair growth, glowy skin, less bloat, more energy, and so much more all thanks to ARMRA collective. My favorite morning drink @tryarmra"
McCall and Zane have been in a relationship since their teenage years. The couple tied the knot earlier this year. Prior to that, Zane Smith had proposed to McCall in April of 2022 during a Truck Series race weekend.
Zane Smith yet to find a NASCAR ride for 2025
On the racing front, Smith faces a lack of clarity over his NASCAR future. Last year, it was announced that the 25-year-old California native would be signing a multi-year contract with Justin Marks' Trackhouse Racing in the Cup Series. This meant a direct promotion for Smith from the Truck Series to the Cup.
A special arrangement was also made for Zane Smith's Cup debut. The former Front Row Motorsports man, despite signing for Trackhouse, was loaned out to Spire Motorsports' third charter in the Cup Series. It was planned for the driver to spend his maiden campaign in the top flight with Spire, before returning to Trackhouse in 2025.
However, everything didn't go as per the plan for Smith. The 25-year-old failed to make a mark in his debut campaign, only securing two top-5 finishes in 36 races. Things also changed at Trackhouse, with Project91 product Shane Van Gisbergen grabbing three wins in his Xfinity campaign and securing promotion to the Cup Series' #88 team.
That leaves Smith without a seat in NASCAR. Entering the 2025 campaign, the former Truck Series champion remains one of the hottest free agents in the market. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will explore his options beyond the Cup Series next season.
