NASCAR driver Zane Smith's wife McCall Smith charmed everyone with her presence as she wore a chic black dress during a recent girls' night out. She went out with a couple of her friends to 'The Hot Chick' in Scottsdale, Arizona.
McCall Smith is the daughter of Dwayne and Kristin Gaulding. Her father, Dwayne, was the vice president of operations at NTS Motorsports, and her brother, Gray Gaulding, is a former NASCAR driver. She also has a younger sister, Kennedy Gaulding.
Recently, McCall went on a fun night out with her friends where she turned heads wearing an elegant black dress. She shared a picture of the night out posing with her friends and wrote:
"Oh what fun times we had"
On her next Instagram story, Zane Smith's wife jokingly said:
"So much fun that we didn't really take many pictures * per usual. 😂"
Zane Smith proposed to McCall Gaulding on April 30, 2022, planning it during a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race weekend. The couple spent about a year organizing their wedding before tying the knot in January 2024.
Former Truck Series champion Zane Smith piloted the #71 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports. At 25, he has secured 13 wins across NASCAR's Truck and Xfinity Series. However, Smith, who finished the 2024 Cup Series campaign in P30, has parted ways with Spire following the end of the 2024 season.
“Ruthless to rookies”- Zane Smith evaluates the level of difficulty in the Cup Series
Zane Smith was in his rookie full-time season in the Cup Series, piloting the #71 Chevy for Spire Motorsports. The 25-year-old missed out on winning his first Cup Series race in the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway by razor-thin margins, finishing the race 0.068 seconds behind the 2024 Cup Series champion Joey Logano.
As the season progressed, Smith managed to secure two top-five and four top-ten finishes in 36 races. Ahead of the Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, Smith shed light on his rookie season in NASCAR's premier division. Moreover, the former Spire Motorsports driver also shed light on his future in the sport.
“Cup Series is not easy and I think you see time and time again, it's ruthless to rookies, and just fortunate we've been able to turn our year around and make the most out of it, especially with the circumstances. Proud of this back half of the season we put together,” Smith said.
On being asked about his future in the sport, following the split with Spire, he said:
"I'm just figuring out what's next. Obviously there's not much available and um there's a lot going on in the sport right now and uh I wish I could have known sooner that I was going to be let go so we can maybe work towards that goal of figuring out what was next."
Zane Smith has been heavily linked with driving the third charter for Front Row Motorsports, however, no official comment has been made by either Smith or FRM.
