Zane Smith and wife McCall enjoy the sun in St. Barts islands ahead of NASCAR season start

Zane Smith and his wife McCall went on a vacation to Saint Barthelemy, a French-speaking Caribbean island also known as St. Barts, ahead of the 2025 NASCAR season. While McCall sipped on wine, as she enjoyed the view, Smith recorded a few videos of the picturesque setting and shared them through his Instagram.

Smith and his wife checked into Shellona, a private beach restaurant in Shell Beach, Saint Barts. The couple have known each other since their teenage days. They got engaged in April 2022 and tied the knot last year in Charleston, South Carolina.

Next, Smith shared another story, which was originally posted by his wife on her Instagram. It showed him swimming while wearing a pair of black shades. McCall jokingly called her husband “a mermaid in the wild.”

This year will mark Zane Smith’s first year in the Cup Series with Front Row Motorsports. He has been tabbed to pilot FRM’s No. 38 car in the NASCAR Cup Series. Earlier, the car used to be driven by Michael McDowell. The 2021 Daytona 500 winner will move to Spire Motorsports in 2025 taking over Smith’s No. 71 ride.

“I’ve always felt at home with Front Row Motorsports,” Smith said of the upcoming opportunity (via NASCAR). “They believed in me when I signed with them to race in the Truck Series initially in 2022 and we shared so much success together, winning six races and a championship in two seasons.”

Smith’s first race of the year is scheduled for February 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. However, the 67th running of the annual Daytona 500, which will be held at the iconic Daytona International Speedway on February 16, has been named the official season-opener.

Zane Smith’s wife shares “favorite moment of 2024” through a heartfelt post on Instagram

On the last day of 2024, Zane Smith’s wife took to Instagram, recalling everything she had done throughout the year. But a special day got singled out in her memory, and she named it her favorite moment of the year.

It was her wedding. McCall relived the special day and, on doing so, posted a few pictures of herself and Smith dressed in nuptial outfits. McCall was seen wearing a gorgeous, white gown, while Smith rocked in an all-black suit paired with a contrasting white shirt.

“Favorite moment of 2024. Becoming Zane's wife,” McCall wrote. “A day celebrating us, and our love, with our family and friends. 2024 was definitely a rollercoaster to say the least but, this day will always make it one of my favorite. Here's to making 2025 just as special as this day! Happy new year everyone!”

Zane Smith will now have to prepare for his 37th race as a full-time NASCAR driver. He spent his rookie season last year at Spire Motorsports bagging two top-5s and four top-10s.
