Ross Lee Chastain is a NASCAR Cup Driver for Trackhouse Racing. He drives the No.1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the team. Chastain also participates part-time in the Xfinity Series driving the No.92 Chevy Camaro for DGM Racing. He also drives part-time in the Craftsman Truck Series for Niece Racing, in their No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado. Chastain has been racing for eight years in NASCAR, as of February 2025. He started racing full-time for Trackhouse Racing in 2021 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Chastain has participated in 223 races over the years. He has claimed five victories and 58 Top-10s in the Cup Series, as of February 2025.

Chastain is famously known as the “Watermelon Man”, as he was also a watermelon farmer until he was 13. He is known for smashing a watermelon from the roof of his car. Chastain uses the stunt to celebrate his victories. He won the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway beating the 2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney. Chastain has also won the 2022 GEICO 500. He used to race in the Cup Series part-time prior to his debut with Chip Ganassi Racing. Chastain even raced for the entire season in the series, however, he was ineligible for the series points. Chastain finished the 2024 Cup Series 19th in the driver standings with one victory to his name.
