Ryan Blaney is an American professional stock car racing driver in the NASCAR Cup Series for the Team Penske organization. Blaney debuted full-time in NASCAR in 2016, with his first win in the Cup Series coming the next year at Pocono. Ryan Blaney comes from a racing family. He is the grandson of famous modified dirt rack racer Lou Blaney and the son of former NASCAR driver Dave Blaney. He began his journey on the NASCAR ladder in 2012, with a combination of starts in select races in both the Xfinity & Truck Series.
Blaney notched up his first Truck Series win in those part-time cameos at Iowa, which then led to a full-time drive with the same team, Brad Keselowski Racing.
