Joey Logano was born to Debbie and Thomas Logano on May 24, 1990. He started his career as a racing driver in the quarter midget series when he was six. Logano won his first championship in 1997 in the Eastern Grand National Championship in the Junior Stock Car Division. He joined NASCAR in 2007 in the Grand National Division. Logano was allowed to race, courtesy of a new rule that allowed drivers aged 16 years and above to be part of the series.
