Carson Kvapil is a 21-year-old stock car racing driver and the son of 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil. He is a full-time CARS Late Model Stock Tour driver and drives the #88 Chevy Camaro for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports.

Kvapil began his career in 2017 by racing in selected Southeast Limited Late Model Series and Challender Division events. He won two starts in three races at Dillon Motor Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway. Later, he also raced in the ARCA Midwest Tour and won his first race.

In 2019, Kvapil competed in three CARS Super Late Model Tours and secured second place becoming Rookie of the Year. The young talent has worked on every race car he has ever raced, including the late model stock car, giving him an edge over other drivers.

The 21-year-old stock car driver won his first title in 2020 after he won the Carolina Pro Late Model Series championship, and this was just the start of Carson Kvapil's legacy. In 2021, he won the Cars Super Late Model Tour, which marked a turning point in his life. JR Motorsports owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. called him and asked Kvapil to race for JRM in Late Model Stock at the CARS tour at South Carolina’s Florence Motor Speedway.

Kvapil performed exceptionally well in the race and led 100 laps, finishing in the top five. This caught Earnhardt Jr.'s eye, and he offered him to be a full-time driver in the Late Model Stock series in 2022.

Carson Kvapil is all set to enter the next season of the NASCAR Xfinity Series

On October 1, 2024, JR Motorsports renewed its contract with its decade-long sponsor Bass Pro Shops, announcing Carson Kvapil will be JR Motorsports' rookie driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025. He will race the #1 Chevy Camaro ZL1 of Sam Mayer.

The former driver of the car is transitioning to the NASCAR Cup Series and will drive the #41 Ford Mustang for the HAAS factory team. Now Kvapil will replace him, and the JR Motorsports team is excited to welcome the Late Stock Car driver onboard.

"The call he's been waiting for. JR Motorsports is proud to promote @Carson_Kvapil to FULL TIME @NASCAR_Xfinity Series racing in 2025 with backing from @BassProShops," JRM tweeted.

In the video, Kvapil was seen working on the #88 car and got a call from the NASCAR legend. He highlighted that he couldn't wait to fire up the #1 Chevy car and race at Daytona at the beginning of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
