Michael Bennett rips reporter: "You probably never played football."

Seattle Seahawks‘ defensive lineman Michael Bennett couldn’t probably digest the Super Bowl XLIX finale defeat to New England Patriots on Sunday night and thus, poured out all his frustrations on a media reporter, who asked him about a fight that broke out in the dying minutes of the game.

Bennett rudely said to him: “I know you probably never played football, you’ve probably never done anything physical in your life except pick up a microphone.” . Now,this was totally unprofessional on the part of Bennett and was not expected by a player of his stature. Bennett’s shot at the reporter was uncalled for and unnecessary. He was not put on blast or provoked by the media member.

Bennett though finally answered the reporter’s question and said “the game gets a little rowdy sometimes.”

Hopefully,he won’t show us this unprofessional side of him again, in the future.
