Ole Miss Rebels tight end Caden Reed Prieskorn was born on September 21, 1999. He initially committed to Memphis where he played three seasons. His peak performance came in his final season with Memphis when he had 48 receptions for 602 yards and seven touchdowns and was named a John Mackey Award semifinalist. Prieskorn on January 9, 2023, decided that he would transfer to the University of Mississippi to play for the Ole Miss Rebels. In his debut season at Ole Miss, he caught 20 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns. Prieskorn was named the 2023 Peach Bowl Offensive MVP after catching ten catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns.

Prieskorn attended Orchard Lake High School in Orchard Lake Village, Michigan, where he played quarterback. Following his time at Orchard Lake, he attended Fork Union Military Academy as a postgraduate before electing to walk on at the University of Memphis. Prieskorn works well in space and has the appropriate mindset to be a successful blocker at the next level. Prieskorn was an impressively fast weapon for its size. Prieskorn is good at getting in and out of his breaks and can separate from linebackers and safeties.

Jerry Prieskorn was born on August 7, 1971, in Pontiac, Michigan. Jerry graduated from Waterford Mott High School and Northwood University, where he played basketball and golf. He was the family business owner of the Bald Mountain Golf Course. He died on October 10, 2023, at his home in Orion Township, Michigan.
