Since he suffered a concussion in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman has been unavailable for games against the Denver Broncos in Week 13 and the Steelers last weekend.
Tillman has been a vital component of the offense since the Browns traded Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills. His status for this week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs is still uncertain due to the concussion he sustained in Week 12.
In an update about Tillman's concussion, coach Kevin Stefanski said last week that the second-year wide receiver had a chance to play against Pittsburgh. Even though he didn't play, the comment implied that he was close to returning to the field.
Tillman returned to practice on Wednesday and Thursday as a limited participant, but he might need to log a full participation on Friday before being cleared to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Tillman has displayed moments of genius this season, and he has the potential to become a significant offensive playmaker for the Browns in the future. In 11 games this season, the 24-year-old wide receiver has hauled in 29 catches for 339 yards and three touchdowns.
Browns supporters expect Tillman and Jerry Jeudy to create a formidable wide-receiver tandem. The team will be hopeful he can return to action this week when they face the Chiefs.
Cedric Tillman injury update: What happened to the Browns' wideout?
Cedric Tillman was taken to the blue medical tent after colliding with linebacker Patrick Queen early in the second half of the Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. As a measure of caution, Tillman didn't return to the game.
Following the game, Kevin Stefanski clarified that the Tennessee alum had to go through the league's five-step procedure to be cleared to return since he was suffering from a concussion.
Stefanski was optimistic that Tillman would be cleared in time to face the Steelers last weekend, but that turned out not to be the case. The young receiver's next opportunity to play is this week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
