Griezmann struggled in school due to dyslexia. He eventually dropped out of school at the age of 14 to focus on his football career. He joined the youth academy of Real Sociedad and moved to Spain with his family.
Club Career
Griezmann began his professional career with Real Sociedad in 2009. He made his debut for the club in September 2009, at the age of 18, in a Copa del Rey match against Rayo Vallecano. He made his league debut a few months later, in a match against Espanyol.
He quickly established himself as a key player for Real Sociedad, scoring his first goal for the club in October 2010 in a match against Hércules. He helped the team win promotion to La Liga in the 2010-2011 season and played a vital role in the team's success in the top-flight, helping them qualify for the UEFA Champions League in the 2013-2014 season.

He made his debut for the club in August 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite with his impressive performances on the pitch. In total, he scored 133 goals in 257 appearances for Atletico Madrid before joining FC Barcelona in 2019 for a reported fee of €120 million.
