Natalya is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. Born in Alberta, Canada, her real name is Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson. She is currently drafted to Monday Night RAW. A third-generational professional wrestler and the daughter of Jim Neidhart, Natalya is a former Divas, Women's Tag Team and SmackDown Women's Champion in WWE.

Early Life

Natalya Neidhart was born on May 27, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, who was a pro wrestler and a former tag team champion in WWE. Her mother is Elizabeth Hart, who is the daughter of pro-wrestling legend Stu Hart. Thus, Natalya is a third-generation wrestler herself. She did her schooling from Vincent Massey Junior High School and then Bishop Carroll High School and graduated in 2000. She did his early pro-wrestling training under her uncles Ross Hart and Bruce Hart. She started working at Hart family's own Stampede Wrestling at an age of 20.

Professional Wrestling Career

Independent Circuit (2001-2007)

In 2001, Neidhart began her career in professional wrestling as a host and ring announcer for Eric Bischoff. In 2003, she began wrestling at Stampede Wrestling. She worked in the Canadian independent circuit for the next few years before signing with WWE.

WWE (2007-Present)

Early Years, Hart Dynasty, and Divas Champion (2007-2010)

In 2007, she signed with WWE, where she began working for developmental territories such as OVW, DSW, and FCW. Apart from wrestling, she also managed TJ Wilson and DH Smith in FCW. In 2008, she made her SmackDown debut and aligned herself with Victoria.

In 2009, they moved her to ECW, where she began managing Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith and formed The Hart Dynasty. In June, they were drafted to SmackDown. At WrestleMania XXVI, they assisted Bret Hart in a match against Vince McMahon. After Mania, they went to RAW where they became the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions.

After losing the title, Kidd turned heel, and they disbanded the group. Natalya went to SmackDown where she feuded with LayCool. At Survivor Series, she won the Divas Championship. Natalya and Beth Phoenix defeated LayCool in a tables match at TLC.

Divas of Doom and Various Alliances (2011-2015)

At Royal Rumble, she lost the Divas Championship to Eve. After spending months chasing the title, she formed a team with Beth Phoenix called Divas of Doom and feuded with Kelly Kelly. In 2012, the team was quietly disbanded and Natalya began managing Tyson Kidd.

She spent her time between the main roster and NXT. She also spent the next few years competing for the NXT Women's and Divas Championship. By the end of 2104, she began managing Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, who formed a tag team. She remained as their manager until the end of 2015.

SmackDown Women's Champion and Various Feuds (2016-2019)

At WrestleMania 32, she joined Team Total Divas and defeated Team B.A.D and Blondes. In 2016, she began feuding with Becky Lynch and was moved to SmackDown. After feuding with Lynch, she began feuding with Nikki Bella and lost.

In 2017, she began feuding with Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Championship. At SummerSlam, she won the SmackDown Women's Championship. After SummerSlam, she began feuding with Charlotte. In November, she lost the title to Charlotte.

In 2018, she was moved to RAW where she became a face and aligned herself with Ronda Rousey. Later, she teamed up with Sasha Banks and Bayley and feuded with The Riott Squad. Natalya has competed in every Women's Royal Rumble match.

In 2019, Natalya and Lacey Evans competed in a Saudi Show. At WrestleMania 35, she reunited Divas of Doom but failed to win the titles. At SummerSlam, Natalya challenged Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship in a submission match and lost. She spent the rest of the year feuding with Lacey Evans and won.

Women's Tag Team Champions and Pursuits (2020-2022)

At WrestleMania 36 Night 2, Liv Morgan defeated Natalya. She spent the rest of the year feuding with Morgan and formed an alliance with Lana. In 2021, she began teaming up with Tamina. After WrestleMania 37, the team defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

In September, they lost the titles to Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. After moving to SmackDown, she formed a team with Shayna Baszler. At WrestleMania 38 Night 2, the team challenged the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions and lost.

Various Feuds (2022-Present)

Natalya fought in various multi-women matches throughout 2022 and had matches against the likes of Shotzi and Shayna Baszler. She took a break from programming due to a real-life nasal surgery before returning at Royal Rumble where she was eliminated by Damage CTRL and Shayna Baszler. She then entered the Women's Elimination Chamber match and eliminated Liv Morgan before being eliminated by Carmella.

Natalya teamed up with Shotzi and fought in the Women's WrestleMania Fatal Four Way Showcase in a losing effort. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won that match by forcing Shotzi to tap out. Natalya was then drafted to Monday Night RAW. Her next challenge came up against Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, whom she failed to defeat twice - First at Night of Champions, then on an episode of RAW. She will challenge her once again at WWE Superstar Spectacle.

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart - Father

Jim Neidhart was an American pro-wrestler best known for his work in WWE. He was one-half of The Hart Foundation, a tag team comprised of himself and his brother-in-law Bret 'The Hitman' Hart. The two stars won two tag team titles in WWE together. Neidhart had three children including Natalya. He was also inducted in WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as a member of the Hart Foundation.

Bret Hart - Uncle

Bret Hart is the son of Stu Hart and the brother of Elizabeth Hart, the mother of Natalya. Often considered as one of the greatest superstars ever to step in the squared circle, Hart is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, 5-times WWF Champion, 2-times Intercontinental Champion, 2-times Tag Team Champion, a former US Champion, 2-time King of the Ring and the winner of Royal Rumble 1994. His list of accomplishments goes way beyond than that.

Owen Hart - Uncle

Owen Hart was the real brother of Bret Hart and Elizabeth Hart. Thus, he was an uncle to Natalya. Owen Hart is often considered among the greatest technical wrestlers of all time. His way of wrestling is praised to date and rarely anyone gives a competition to his style of wrestling. Unfortunately, Hart is no longer among us due to an accident that happened in 1999 in WWE.

Stu Hart - Maternal Grandfather

Stu Hart is the maternal grandfather of Natalya Neidhart and is the patriarch of the Hart Family. He was a first-generation wrestler born in 1915 and known for his contribution to professional wrestling. He also founded and operated Hart Family's own Stampede Wrestling. Vince McMahon has also praised Stu Hart for his contribution to the sport. He was also inducted into WWE Hall of Fame posthumously in 2010.

Natalya's Husband

Natalya is married to Theodore James Wilson whom WWE fans know by the ring name TJ Wilson and and Tyson Kidd. He is also a Canadian-born pro-wrestler who has now retired from his in-ring duties due to a spinal cord injury. However, he continues to work with WWE as a producer. Natalya and Wilson have known each other since Natalya was about 12 years old. The two began dating in November 2001 and tied the knots on June 26, 2013. The two have been living happily with each other since then.
