10) Dudunsparce

Dudunsparce, a Paldea mon that evolves from Dunsparce, has a base stat total of 490 in Pokemon games. It is a Normal-type Pokemon with three different abilities: Serene Grace, Run Away, and Rattled. Each ability has a unique utility, so one should use it properly to gain an edge.

Trainers should note that Dudunsparce has high Hit Points (HP) and Attack stats. As a result, one may not be able to damage it easily.

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Dudunsparce has a low catch rate of 45. To find it, one must travel to the Great Crater of Paldea, located in the map's center. Once encountered, players should try reducing the Land Snake Pokemon’s HP, while making sure it is not defeated.

9) Garganacl

Multiple Gen IX critters roam in the wild in the Great Crater of Paldea in the Pokemon games, Scarlet and Violet. Garganacl, an evolution of Naclstack, can also be spotted here. The monster is a Rock-type Pokemon with type weaknesses to a wide array of moves. With an impressive design and lore, not only do species want to be around it, but trainers also look to get their hands on it.

Garganacl boasts a catch rate of 45 in Scarlet and Violet installments. Its HP and Attack stats share similar data, but its Defense stat is sky-high. That said, trainers can encounter and battle the Rock Salt Pokemon in the crater. However, it should be noted that one should possess good counters to damage the monster before attempting to catch it in Pokemon games.

8) Rabsca

Rabsca is a Bug and Psychic-type Paldean monster in Pokemon games. It debuted with the release of Scarlet and Violet. As mentioned, no one can encounter Pocket Monsters from the Paldea region in older titles like Sword and Shield, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, or Legends: Arceus. Hence, one can only find Rabsca in Gen IX titles.

In Scarlet and Violet, the Rolling Pokemon sports a catch rate of 45, meaning players have to do something about the rate. For this, inflicting a status condition can improve the rate of catch. Nevertheless, trainers should be aware of its Synchronize ability, as it can pass effects of status like poison, burn, and paralysis to opponents.

7) Lokix

Lokix is encountered in various locations in the Paldea region of Scarlet and Violet Pokemon games. When a Nymble reaches Level 21, it can evolve into a Lokix.

The Grasshopper critter, being a dual Bug and Dark-type, is weak to several moves but immune to Psychic-type attacks. Swarm and Tinted Lens are two of its abilities; the former powers up Bug-type attacks, and the latter powers up low damage-dealing moves.

Lokix's catch rate in Pokemon games Scarlet and Violet is 30, much lower than Rabsca, Dudunsparce, and Garganacl. As a result, one must formulate a proper plan for successful capture. The strategy trainers need to apply includes combating it, lowering its HP, and avoiding beating it to dust.

Players can find Lokix in the Asado Desert, Casseroya Lake, North Province (Area One), North Province (Area Two), and North Province (Area Three).

6) Bombirdier

Many believe it takes a lot of work to catch Bombirdier due to its low catch rate of 25. This bird-like species is called an Item-Drop Pokemon because it likes to drop things to make loud noises for pleasure. It is a dual Flying and Dark-type creature introduced in Generation 9 games and has a base stat total of 485 with 70 HP.

Trainers from the Scarlet and Violet should know that this Paldea Pokemon is immune to Ground and Psychic-type moves. Due to its dual-type nature, it is vulnerable to several attacks. One can learn how to damage it by keeping these details in mind. But, most importantly, Pokemon players can only have it by catching up with its capture odds.

To spot The Item Drop Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, one can fly to the South Province (Area Six), West Province (Area One), West Province (Area Three), and West Paldean Sea.

5) Glimmora

Glimmora is a dual Poison and Rock-type Pokemon hailing from the Paldea region. In Pokemon games, it evolves from Glimmet, knows a lot of moves, and can become a good companion. Its primary ability is Toxic Debris, one of the most beneficial trump cards in mainline titles.

With this, the creature can throw poison spikes at the feel of the opponents when foes use Physical moves against it.

Encountering Glimmora in Scarlet and Violet is extremely difficult. But one can do so by going inside the areas of the Great Crater of Paldea. Fans should store Poke Balls, bring some counters, and a creature with status effects to tackle the monster when found. That said, strategies always give players the upper hand in Pokemon games.

4) Wo-Chien

Wo-Chien is a Paldea Pokemon with outstanding body design in Pokemon games Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon GO has released several Gen IX critters, but Wo-Chien has yet to make its debut. The Ruinous Pokemon is unavailable in other mainline titles except for Niantic's mobile game. If trainers find it and want to battle with it, they should know it is immune to Psychic-type moves.

Because the catch rate of Wo-Chien is just 6, trainers need to stick to strategic gameplay if they want to bag it. There is a location where this wild creature appears in Scarlet and Violet Pokemon games: South Province (Area One). Once trainers are near this place, they should try lowering Wo-Chien’s Hit Points and utilizing the status effect to immobilize it.

3) Chi-Yu

Chi-Yu has the power to defend against Special Attacks. Thus, players should acknowledge this if they want to charge it. Moreover, it is also offensively outstanding due to its Special Attack stat of 135 in the Pokemon game Scarlet and Violet. Numerous moves like Flamethrower, Ember, Crunch, and Flare Blitz deal heavy damage as they benefit from STAB effects.

Trainers can encounter and catch Chi-Yu by heading towards the North Province of Area Two. But before doing so, they need to stock up on Poke Balls because this Paldea Pokemon can quickly come out from them.

2) Munkidori

Munkidori's design resembles that of a gorilla in Pokemon games. However, since there is only a male gender of this Paldea fighter, trainers cannot obtain a female form. They can also call it the Retainer Pokemon; it became available with the release of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. Its types are Poison and Psychic. It also has a primary ability, Toxic Chain, with a hidden ability called Frisk.

With a catch rate of 3, Munkidori is extremely difficult to grab in Scarlet and Violet. To find it in its habitat, trainers must beat the main story first and visit Wisteria Pond in the Wisteria Fields.

1) Pecharunt

Pecharunt is a new Mythical Pokemon introduced after the Indigo Disk DLC was released for the Pokemon game Scarlet and Violet. After developer Game Freak dropped the epilogue of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLCs, it made the monster available for everyone.

However, trainers have to complete the Mochi Mayhem story to get Pecharunt. Aside from this, there are no other obtainable ways.

The last Paldean Pokemon with a low catch rate covered on this list is Pecharunt. It has a catch rate of 6 but cannot be obtained twice in the same game file. Entities, such as Pecharunt, like to put up a fight in the capture process, so trainers should stock up on Master Balls.
