Pokemon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over is a joint event occurring in the title alongside the ongoing Fashion Week. While both events will end on January 19, 2025, the Taken Over event will start on January 15, 2025. On this occasion, trainers will see the comeback of Giovanni along with other members of Team GO Rocket. With their return to the game, participants can get their hands on several Shadow Pokemon, one of which is the Legendary Pokemon Shadow Palkia.

This event will also mark the debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai, alongside Shadow forms of Taillow, Tepig, Snivy, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. In this article, we will provide players with the best PvP picks they can farm at Pokemon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over 2025.

When Pokemon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over begins, a Special Research Task will be available for trainers to access. This will lead to a meeting with Giovanni, tasking them with saving Shadow Palkia.

However, to claim this Special Research story, players must defeat Team Go Rocket Grunts and Leaders: Alro, Cliff, and Sierra. After winning against them, players can access the Special Research questline, which offers a Super Rocket Radar to find Giovanni.

Giovanni, the Leader of Team GO Rocket, will face the player character with his Shadow Palkia. Trainers can defeat this Shadow Palkia in Pokemon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over 2025 using the best counters like Mega Rayquaza, Origin Forme Palkia, Shadow Dialga, and Haxorus.

To be able to obtain Shadow Serperior, the Regal Pokemon, at Pokemon GO Fashion Week: Taken Over 2025, trainers can evolve Shadow Snivy into Shadow Servine using 25 Snivy Candy. Then, they can evolve Shadow Servine into Shadow Serperior using 100 Snivy Candy.

The task here is to collect a large sum of Snivy Candy and a Snivy, which can be accomplished by defeating Grass-type Grunts.
