Best PvP Pokemon to get in Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition

1) Emolga for the Great League and Ultra League

Emolga is slightly rare to encounter for trainers at Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition because this creature, besides Absol and Chansey, can barely be found in the wild.

Go where the Weather Boost effect increases the spawn rate of Emolga. The suitable conditions to find Emolga are Rainy or Windy weather. Therefore, this Unova Pocket Monster is encountered in these weathers.

To catch a wild rare critter like Emolga, remember to activate the effects of the Lure Module and Incense. These items can help locate the creature in the run of Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition. However, the journey to add Emolga to your collection will be challenging.

2) Zamazenta (Hero) for the Master League

Zamazenta and Shiny Zamazenta are featured in 5-star raids, and if you happen to defeat them, you can get these Legendaries in your account. A Zamazenta is a single Fighting-type Legendary Pokemon from the Galar region.

Exploit its type weaknesses to beat the monster. Furthermore, your counters must be strong, as Zamazaenta will boast increased combat power (CP) and hit points (HP) in raids.

Regular, Shadow, and Mega counters for Zamazenta 5-star raid battles in Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition are

  • Mega Rayquaza: Air Slash and Dragon Ascent
  • Shadow Metwow: Psycho Cut and Psystrike
  • Rayquaza: Air Slash and Dragon Ascent
  • Shadow Ho-Oh: Extrasensory and Brave Bird
  • Mega Gardevoir: Confusion and Synchronoise
  • Tapu Lele: Confusion and Nature’s Madness
  • Lugia: Extrasensory and Aeroblast++

3) Metagross for the Master League

Metagross is a pseudo-legendary creature in Pokemon GO and is best suited for Master League battles. It evolves from Metang by consuming 100 Candies, where you have to feed 25 Candies to Beldum to evolve it into Metang.

Unfortunately, you cannot directly get your hands on a Metagross at Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition. You must encounter and capture a wild Beldum and then trigger its evolution process until it reaches its final form.

In the game, a Metagross is a dual Steel and Psychic-type Pocket Monster. It resists multiple types of attack due to its elemental typing, giving it a battle advantage it needs in the Master League PvP format.

If you want to easily find Beldum during the runtime of Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition, ensure you visit Snow and Windy weather-conditioned areas, as the spawn rate of Beldum improves in these weathers.

4) Galarian Zapdos for the Master League

Galarian Zapdos is one of the main highlights of the Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition event. Because it is one of the rare Legendary Pokemon that can be captured in the wild, you must know how to do it.

There is only one way to come across this elusive beast, and that is to use your Daily Adventure Incense. Make sure this item is turned on in Windy or Cloudy weather.

Once this item is activated, you may find a wild Galarian Zapdos, otherwise, you will have to utilize another Daily Adventure Incense. Whether you obtain a regular Galarian Zapdos or a Shiny Galarian Zapdos, both are best for PvP Master League.

5) Galarian Motlres for the Master League

Keep in mind that the Galarian Motlres is another great PvP Pokemon to farm during the Pokemon GO Galarian Expedition event. Activate the Daily Adventure Incense to encounter this monster. As there aren’t any other ways to find and acquire Galarian Moltres, you must use the item.

The Daily Adventure Incense must be activated in Foggy and Windy weather conditions to encounter Galarian Moltres. A Shiny variant of Galarian Moltres can also appear when this in-game item is in use, but only a lucky player can come across it.
