Holiday Attire Dedenne and its shiny variation will be available to encounter when you take down 1-star raids featuring the former at Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1. Since Dedenne is an Electric-type Pokemon in GO, you will need to teach Ground- and Poison-type moves to beat it.

  • Mega Garchomp: Mud Shot and Earth Power
  • Shadow Excadrill: Mud-Slap and Scorching Sands

Another costumed critter you should aim to grab at Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 is Winter Carnival Pikachu. This version of the beloved mouse sports a green-and-red scarf and a snow-shade jacket, which is a perfect fit to showcase the Pokemon during upcoming vacations. Lucky Trainers might even come across a Shiny Winter Carnival Pikachu.

If you want to possess these special ‘mons, make sure to beat 1-star raids featuring Pikachu with a Winter Carnival dress.

3) Spheal wearing a Holiday Scarf

7 KM Eggs at Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 feature six different pocket monsters and their shiny versions. However, in our opinion, Spheal wearing a Holiday Scarf is the most dashing costumed Pokemon among all of them. It has a Christmas-themed scarf wrapped around its neck, which gives this happy-go-lucky critter an adorable look.

Keep in mind that collecting 7 KM eggs in the game is extremely challenging. If you have these items unused, wait for the event to run, place them inside the incubators, and cover the required walking distance to hatch them. Alternatively, you can ask your friends to send you Gifts so that you can gather some of these items before Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 commences.

4) Stantler wearing a Holiday Outfit

Three 3-star raids will be available to join during the time frame of the Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 event. Stantler wearing a Holiday Outfit is one of the Raid Bosses you will face in Gyms.

You can defeat this costumed Pokemon in these battles to encounter its regular and shiny variants. However, due to its encounter odds, Shiny Stantler in a Holiday Outfit will be particularly challenging to find.

Counters to defeat Stantler wearing a Holiday Outfit:

  • Mega Lucario with Force Palm and Aura Sphere
  • Mega Blaziken with Counter and Focus Blast
  • Mega Heracross with Counter and Close Combat
  • Terrakion with Double Kick and Sacred Sword
  • Shadow Machomp with Counter and Dynamic Punch
  • Marshadow with Counter and Close Combat

5) Undersea Holiday Glaceon

Once you take down Undersea Holiday Glaceon 3-star raids when Pokemon GO Holiday Part 1 goes live, you will be eligible to encounter its standard and shiny forms. An important tip to memorize is — the more battles you win, the closer you can get to obtaining the Raid Boss.

Considering it is an awesome costumed Pokemon to own in the game, you will go home in a happy mood even if you decide to be satisfied with just the Undersea Holiday Glaceon variant.

Counters to beat Undersea Holiday Glaceon raids:

  • Dusk Mane Necrozma: Metal Claw and Sunsteel Strike
  • Mega Lucario: Force Palm and Aura Sphere
  • Shadow Metagross: Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash
  • Reshiram: Fire Fang and Fusion Flare
  • Heatran: Fire Spin and Magma Storm
