Paradox Pokemon were a new type of rare and powerful creatures introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. With the conclusion of its expansion pass, new content for the game has halted in favor of focusing on future products. Since Paradox Pokemon are tied to the time machine in Paldea's Area Zero, it is unlikely that any more will be introduced, similar to the situation with Ultra Beasts.
However, interest in these creatures has skyrocketed, with many players wondering what some of their favorites would look like in the far future or prehistoric past. Some of the creatures introduced in the Galar region would arguably be amazing candidates for new Paradox variants if Game Freak were to reveal more. Here are five Galar Pokemon that should receive Paradox variants.
5 Galar Pokemon that should have received Paradox variants
1) Dragapult

The Pseudo-Legendary of the Galar region, Dragapult is one of the most iconic creatures from the Galar region. As such, if Game Freak did decide to make Paradox forms based on Pokemon from the region, they would most likely start with Dragapult.
Given its base inspiration of fighter jets, it would make sense that they would lean further into this choice, exchanging one of its typings for a Steel one. It would also be much faster, building more like the standard glass cannon archetype that many fans of the competitive scene are familiar with.
2) Cinderace
The Fire-type starter for the Galar region, Cinderace is one of the most popular monsters from the region. As such, it would be a nice touch to see it receive a Paradox variant. Given its design and athletic abilities, it is a great candidate to receive a prehistoric Paradox variant.
If it receives an additional Fighting typing to its arsenal, Paradox Cinderace has the potential to be one of the more threatening Paradoxes, on par with the likes of Iron Hands in terms of power. Sadly, it is unlikely that we will ever receive such a Paradox form since they are exclusive to Paldea.
3) Grimmsnarl
Grimmsnarl is known in the competitive scene as a tanky utility pick thanks to its Prankster ability. However, it has the making for a competitive powerhouse with a bit of tweaking that the Paradox treatment could provide. Given its imposing stature, it is likely that Game Freak would steer it in the direction of being a bulky physical attacker.
If this is done, one of its typings could be switched out in favor of the Fighting element. Given its design as a brutish, hairy goblin, they would most likely take the primal route with its Paradox form, which can take inspiration from ogres in fantasy games.
4) Corviknight
Corviknight is a popular choice for many players' teams in the Galar region thanks to its high defensive stats and iconic design. Being a creature used for traveling across the Galar region, it would be interesting to see this expanded upon when designing its prehistoric or futuristic Paradox variants.
If they choose to take the prehistoric route, they could change its design inspiration to reflect that of an emu, potentially explaining this by saying that this variant was used for land travel in the past. For the future version, they could easily design it as a hovercraft.
5) Toxtricity
Inspired by the punk genre of music, Toxtricity is the favorite of many Galar travelers. Having a design and origin based on notoriously loud and grungy music, Toxtricity could serve as a base for a futuristic Paradox variant. As such, this hypothetical future form could take inspiration from audio devices like speakers.
Additionally, Paradox Toxtricity could be converted into an Electric and Normal or Fairy-type and take its design from the now-discontinued Apple iDog. While it would be a reference a bit too "on-the-nose" to be implemented, it would surely go down in the franchise's history as one of the most unique concepts for a monster.
