Pokemon Sleep's latest Legendary Pokemon comes in the form of Suicune, who is slated to arrive in early September 2024. This not only completes Sleep's trio of the Legendary Beasts of the Johto region being added to the game but also opens up the opportunity for other Legendary Pokemon to arrive in the future. But which Legendary Pokemon should be introduced after Suicune?

Considering plenty of legendaries haven't made their way to Pokemon Sleep, the options are certainly vast. Each fan of the game likely has a different opinion on the matter. Still, it might be worth taking a look at the five legendaries that are worth adding to Sleep once Suicune makes its grand arrival.

Five Legendary Pokemon that deserve to arrive in Pokemon Sleep after Suicune

1) Cosmog

While adding its final evolutions Solgaleo and Lunala might be a bit too much at the moment, Pokemon Sleep could still look into adding the Legendary Pokemon Cosmog to the game. Its nebulous body and cheery demeanor seem like a perfect fit for the sleep theme that the game depicts, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine an event centered around the stars in the sky to help introduce it.

Sure, some more dedicated Pokemon fans might prefer for Solgaleo/Lunala to be added, but given the sheer size of the two creatures, perhaps Cosmog is a better starting point before its evolutions like Cosmoem/Solgaleo/Lunala make their way to the game.

2) Ogerpon

Pokemon Sleep, compared to other games like Pokemon GO, has released new Pocket Monsters in an unconventional order. Creatures from various core series generations have already made their way to the game compared to titles like GO which typically release new creatures in generational order. With that in mind, Ogerpon might be a fun addition to Sleep's legendary roster.

Ogerpon is well-known for its playful antics and willingness to bond with trainers and is incredibly curious about the lives of humans, willing to wear different masks to blend in with populations of people. Since Ogerpon is so fond of human contact, its arrival in Pokemon Sleep would likely be a natural fit compared to the more fearsome-looking Legendary Beasts like Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

3) Kanto's Legendary Birds

With the Legendary Beast trio all having been added to Pokemon Sleep with Suicune's arrival, perhaps another trio is in order. Sleep doesn't have too many Flying-type Pokemon or Pokemon capable of flight in general, so introducing Kanto's Legendary Bird trio could be a compelling way to address that.

Sure, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres may not seem like the cuddliest creatures to make their way to Sleep, but perhaps they could perch in a particularly nice site for a snooze and not look quite so intimidating.

4) Regigigas

If Pokemon Sleep wants to introduce a few more big-bodied Legendary Pokemon, Regigigas might be worth consideration. After all, the creator of the Legendary Giants is known to slumber quite a bit until the presence of its progeny awakens it. Due to this bit of lore, the Colossal Pokemon could be a great complement to a player's ongoing sleep research.

While this list did concede that massive Pokemon like Solgaleo and Lunala might be a bit too large for the game at this point, and while Regigigas' hulking frame stands at over 12 feet, if Pokemon Sleep did want to introduce some larger creatures, Regigigas certainly meets the size requirement.

5) Lugia

Although its counterpart Ho-Oh would be a fine pick for Pokemon Sleep as well, rest and calmness are baked into Lugia's personality. The Johto legendary is known for sleeping in the deep sea to avoid unleashing its tremendous power on the unsuspecting. It also has the power to control the weather and protect sailors lost in storms and it is also seen to hold dominion over Kanto's Legendary Birds.

When Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres come to blows, Lugia intervenes to calm them. Perhaps this calming and slumbering guardian of the seas is a fantastic thematic addition to Pokemon Sleep, especially since Johto's Legendary Beasts are already taken care of.
