With October coming to a close, Niantic has released some information regarding what players can expect to see in Pokemon GO in the following month. Thanks to the game's frequent updates and the posts made to the game's official website, we can gather a pretty good idea of things to come for the popular monster-collecting mobile game.

For those who may not want to collect all the information themselves, it could be helpful to have everything in one place. So what exactly does the community have to look forward to for the month of November? With the recent information drop, we can provide an inside look at future events as well as new monsters to come to the mobile game.

5 things in Pokemon GO to anticipate for November 2023

1) Wooper Community Day

Starting off strong, information regarding November's Community Day is already available. The monthly edition of the beloved event will be another double feature, much like what was done for Slowpoke. The event will feature both the standard form of Wooper as well as its Paldean form. The Paldean form will even be able to evolve into Clodsire the moment it debuts.

The event goes live on November 5 at 2 pm local time, and it will feature an increased chance to find both forms of Wooper in their shiny variants. Upon evolution, Quagsire will receive the new attack, Aqua Tail, while Clodsire will receive the new event-exclusive move, Megahorn. Both of these creatures have shown some serious potential in the metagame, so these new moves will surely increase their viability.

2) Dia de Muertos 2023

On the first two days of November, the Dia de Muertos event will go live, bringing a slight twist on the Halloween spawn rates. These events will feature new costumed variants for Cubone and Marowak, while also bringing back the costumed forms for the Duskull line of monsters. Although these monsters are somewhat lackluster for competitive play, new costumed monsters are a huge win for collectors.

This event also offers a bonus to capture candies, with players in Latin America and the Caribbean getting a bonus to transfer candy as well. In addition, Darkrai will also be available as a Raid Boss during this event. This Mythical Pokemon is one of the best raid battlers in the game, so players will want to pick one up while they can.

3) Mexico City Safari

November 4 and 5 will feature the last City Safari event for the current rotation. This rendition of the event will be taking place in Mexico City. Tickets for this event are sold on the official Pokemon GO website, so those interested can pre-order them from there. These events are beloved by the community thanks to them bearing rare Pokemon for players to collect.

These events will grant players a better chance at scoring some rare creatures like Tropius, Skiddo, and Axew. Tropius and the two fully evolved forms of the others perform excellently in the game's competitive Battle League, and the event will feature special costumes for Eevee and its evolutions. Overall, a worthwhile investment for hardcore and casual players alike.

4) More Paldean Pokemon

A recent update to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has brought the stats and movesets for almost all of Paldea's native species of Pokemon. Two particular monsters to keep an eye out for are Flamigo and Scovillain. These two creatures possess great typings for both Pokemon GO's Great and Ultra tiers in the Battle League.

Although it is currently unclear when these creatures will make their debut in the mobile game, there is good reason to believe that they will make their appearance soon. Judging by how Niantic has been adding in these new Paldean creatures, we will see at least one from the region during the month of November.

5) Mystery Mega Raid

While Niantic normally details their schedule for raids and the like in Pokemon GO relatively thoroughly, one minor detail in the recent announcement has left many with questions. From November 12 to 16, a Raid Boss that has not been revealed will be taking over the position of the current boss.

Without the slightest clue as to what this boss could be, it would be safe to assume that this hints at the debut of a new Mega Evolution. This new Mega will mostly be tied to a future event that will be taking place around that time, but this is merely speculation.
