Appearance of Alakazam
Alakazam is a humanoid Pokemon with yellow and brown coloring. Its head is shaped like an upside-down star but with a mustache-like set of whiskers. It's almost always seen holding two spoons in its three-fingered hands in reference to the classic spoon-bending magic trick.
Behavior of Alakazam
All of Alakazam’s behavior and descriptions center around its mind and the power of that mind. It's incredibly intelligent, psychically powerful, and is said to be able to remember everything it learns perfectly. However, this makes it difficult to relate to, so humans that befriend this Pokemon tend to have psychic powers in order to have a way to relate to this Pokemon’s incredible mind.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Alakazam is a pure psychic type so it's a simple task of looking at a type chart. It's strong against fighting and psychic-type moves and they do half damage. It's weak to a bug, ghost, and dark type moves and takes double damage from them.
Mega Alakazam
Mega Alakazam is the super-powered form for Alakazam. In games with Mega Evolution, and Alakazam holding an Alakazite can Mega Evolve into Mega Alakazam. Mega Alakazam not only boosts the Pokemon’s facial hair but its strongest stats as well. Mega Alakazam has one of the highest special attack stats of any Pokemon and has the ability to one-shot lots of opponents without buffs.
Shiny Alakazam
Shiny Alakazam is the rare recolored version of Alakazam. This recolor includes a lighter overall tone, making Shiny Alakazam a yellow that's a lot brighter than its normal form. Shiny Alakazam also has its brown body parts changed to a deep pink color. Though this color is still brighter than the brown so overall Shiny Alakazam is much brighter than its normal form.
Alakazam EX
Alakazam EX is a powerful Pokemon card from the Trading Card Game. Alakazam EX is a special EX card which means it comes with special moves and abilities. Alakazam EX has the ability Kinesis which revolves around using another strong card to evolve it M Alakazam EX. This card is rather popular and some forms of the holographic Alakazam EX can be valued at over $20.
Best Moveset for Alakazam
All out Attacker: Alakazam is built to be a sweeper. Its high speed and special attack stats are perfect for dishing out one hit KOs before the opponent gets a single move in. This means it pairs very well with a Life Orb or Choice Specs to boost its attacks even further.

How to Catch Alakazam in Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go forgoes the classic method of getting Alakazam. Instead of trading a Kadabra for it to evolve, all it takes is 100 Abra candy. After catching a lot of Abra and probably using a few Pinap berries for more candy, you should easily have enough to get your hands on this brainy powerhouse.
