The Pokemon GO World Championships 2024 Celebration event will feature a bunch of exclusive moves that creatures can learn during specific events or using Elite TMs. These are sought-after Fast and Charged Attacks in Niantic's mobile game, especially when it comes to these critters. More often than not, access to these exclusive moves boosts their in the PvP and PvE meta.

This article lists all the exclusive moves and the creatures that can learn them during the Pokemon GO World Championships 2024 Celebration event.

Note: At the time of writing it is uncertain if Mienshao will retain this exclusive move from the Pokemon GO World Championships 2024 Celebration event upon evolution.

All Pokemon that can learn exclusive moves during the Pokemon GO World Championships 2024 Celebration event

1) Lickitung — Body Slam

  • How to get: Capture Lickitung in the wild or from three-star raids during the event.
  • PvP viability: Part of Lickitung's best moveset. The creature itself is meta in the Great League.
  • PvE viability: Irrelevant.

2) Mienfoo — High Jump Kick

  • How to get: Capture Mienfoo from one-star raids during the event.
  • PvP viability: Irrelevant.
  • PvE viability: Irrelevant unless Mienshao can retain it. Low viability even if it can.

3) Quagsire and Shadow Quagsire — Aqua Tail

  • How to get: Evolve Wooper or Shadow Wooper—after removing Frustration—during the event.
  • PvP viability: Part of both Quagsires' best moveset. The Shadow form is one of the best Water- and Ground-types in the present Great League meta.
  • PvE viability: Irrelevant.

4) Altaria — Moonblast

  • How to get: Evolve Swablu during the event.
  • PvP viability: Part of Altaria's best moveset. Altaria is a middle-of-the-pack pick in the Great League.
  • PvE viability: Irrelevant.

5) Charjabug — Volt Switch

  • How to get: Evolve Grubbin during the event.

  • How to get: Evolve Fletchinder during the event.
  • PvP viability: Part of Talonflame's best moveset. Talonflame is a strong contender for both the Great League and the Ultra League meta in Pokemon GO.
  • PvE viability: Irrelevant.
