Fans remember many Pokemon from Kanto because they are the first generation of Pocket Monsters introduced in the Pokemon games. Among the introduced ones, Charizard is the most popular. It has three different forms, two of which are Mega Evolutions, so we call them Mega Charizards. It also has a Gigantamax form, a unique evolution-like state where Charizard turns into a giant fire-breathing monster.

Fans have a love-hate relationship with all variants of Charizard. While some believe one form is better, others oppose that. Today, we are going to rank all forms of the Fire-type Charizard in Pokemon games by analyzing their design.

Note: The list is subjective.

The launch of Sword and Shield brought Gigantamax Charizard back into Pokemon games. The monster was first spotted in Pokemon Trading Card Games in 1996 and has been sought after ever since.

A Gigantamax Charizard has a giant body with two muscular legs and resembles a fire-spitting Dragon. The overall design is fiery and sparkling, which is impressive for its size, but not as much as its Mega forms.

3) Mega Charizard Y

All Mega Evolutions of Charizard first appeared in Pokemon games X and Y. The Mega Charizard you see in the X title is called Mega Charizard X. Moreover, there is a second Mega form in the Y title.

Many fans believe that Y is far better than X because Y has a fantastic design. It looks like a big brother of the original Charizard. Everything is perfect, but these gimmicks can't compete with the original form.

2) Original Charizard

The Pokemon games Gold and Silver introduced the real Charizard along with 150 Pokemon from Kanto. It gained popularity by being a partner of Ash Ketchum in the anime. Thanks to that, it became easy for fans to determine that the original Charizard has a classic design. The gold and orange color combination is the cherry on top.

Charizard is a Fire and Flying-type Pokemon with amazing battle prowess. It is obtainable in Pokemon GO, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and FireRed and LeafGreen.

Words cannot express how creative Mega Charizard X's design is in Pokemon games. It deviates from the traditional approach and embraces a totally unique design. When in this form, its typing changes from Fire and Flying to Fire and Dragon. It becomes a Dragon, which is super cool since almost all fans wanted to own a Dragon-type Charizard.
