In single battles, Koraidon aims to boost its Speed as much as possible so that it moves first. It is a physical attacker, so Jolly is the best nature for it, and Choice Scarf the best held item. Its signature ability, Orichalum Pulse, activates Harsh Sunlight for five turns and boosts its Attack by 30% while this is active.

Under these conditions, all of Koraidon's attacks deal massive damage. Since Fire-type moves benefit from Sunny Weather, Koraidon runs Flare Blitz with Tera Fire, alongside its signature move, Collision Course, and Dragon Claw for damage.
