Appearance
Binacle are actually two Pokemon which find a rock to live together in and because of this, it looks like they are two palms sticking out of a rock. The rock looks like it is broken with two holes on it and from these holes the Binacles emerge. They are orange in colour with brown faces and have puffed cheeks which have holes in them to expose the orange part. On top of their head are bone-like spiky structures.
Behavior
Binacle survive on seaweed and always live in pairs; if they have to move, they contract and yank at their rocks to move around. If they have a disagreement, one of them will find a new rock to move to. Teamwork is important for Binacle as while one focuses on the offense, the other focuses on the offense. Without one, the other can't survive.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Due to the dual Rock/Water typing, Binacle is incredibly weak to grass types and takes four times the normal damage. It is also weak to Fighting, Ground and Electric type moves and takes double the normal damage. On the other hand, Binacle is resistant to Normal, Fire, Ice, Poison and Flying type attacks but has no immunities.
Best moveset
Binacle can be a really good choice when it comes to LC due to its incredible movepool and ability, tough claw. Shell Smash, while reducing defensive capabilities, boosts offensive capabilities along with speed. After getting enough Shell Smashes down, use Liquidation or Stone Edge depending on the type of the opponent’s Pokemon. If both moves are equally effective, prioritize Liquidation as it has much higher accuracy. Cross Chop can come in handy as a coverage move. While it is better to prioritize Liquidation or Stone Edge due to STAB, you can always use Cross Chop if you can not use both of these moves for some reason.
Shell Smash | Liquidation |
Stone Edge | Cross Chop |
