However, many might wonder if the Phony and Antique Forms of Sinistea are also available in the game. The short answer is yes, Antique Form Sinistea is currently available in Pokemon GO, along with its Phony Form.

How to get Antique Form Sinistea in Pokemon GO?

You can get an Antique Form Sinistea in Pokemon GO if you are lucky enough. However, you can only know if you have the Phony or Antique Form once you have caught it in Pokemon GO. As such, your method of acquiring an Antique Form is the same as catching a normal Sinistea, and there are currently three ways to do so:

• One-star raids
• Collection challenges
• Trading with other players

Once you have a Sinistea, you can check if it is in Phony or Antique Form. It is currently unknown whether the two forms have different appearance rates, and if one is rarer than the other.

How to check if you have Phony or Antique Form Sinistea?

To check whether you have the Phony or Antique Form Sinistea in Pokemon GO, you simply need to appraise it. When you appraise a Pokemon, your chosen Team Leader will provide you with its stats, including its IV details. This is where you will find information about your Sinistea's variant.

Here are the steps to appraise your Sinistea in Pokemon GO:

• Launch Pokemon GO and go to view all your Pokemon.
• Locate Sinistea and tap on it.
• Next, tap on the three bars at the bottom right of your screen.
• From the list of options, select Appraise.

Normally, the appraisal has two sections - the first dialogue tells you about the size of the Pokemon, and the second dialogue mentions the location where the critter was caught, along with its IVs.

For Sinistea, the second dialogue box will also have an additional line indicating its form. If you have the Antique variant, you will find the following line in this dialogue box:

"Looks like an Antique Form Sinistea to me."

Both variants of Sinistea evolve into Polteageist in Pokemon GO. However, the forms get carried forward as well. This means that an Antique Form Sinistea can only evolve into an Antique Form Polteageist, and the same holds for Phony Form Sinistea.
