The availability of Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO is a matter that concerns players who enjoy collecting rare forms of Pocket Monsters. For the uninitiated, when Tandemaus evolves into Maushold, the couple can either have two children or one child. The former is called a 'Family of Four,' while the latter is known as a 'Family of Three.'
In the main series games, players have a 1-in-100 or 1% chance of getting a three-member family when Tandemaus evolves. That said, players can still get a Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO.
This article explores everything that is known about Tandemaus' evolution and a Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO.

How to get Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO
Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO can be acquired by simply evolving Tandemaus. This can be achieved by feeding the base form 50 Candy. Unfortunately, whether or not you get the four-member family or the three-member family is entirely dependent on internal game data that you have no way of accessing or manipulating.
In fact, before you evolve Tandemaus, the evolution button also shows a Family of Four Maushold's silhouette. This might lead you to think that you are bound to get the less rare form, but upon evolution, you might receive the three-member family.
Tandemaus and Maushold in Pokemon GO were released on July 17, 2024. It is yet to be determined what the exact mechanics of getting a Family of Three is or whether it is completely randomized. Once there is a revelation on this, this section of the article will be updated.
