With the Pokemon GO Necrozma Fusion Raid Day event live on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2 - 5 pm local time, players might wonder if they can get Fusion Energy from Remote Raids. Luckily, players have confirmed that the resource can be collected when participating in these challenges from far away — as long as you complete the battle before the clock strikes 5 pm in the area where the raid is taking place.
This article covers everything you need to know about collecting Fusion Energy from Remote Raids on Pokemon GO Necrozma Fusion Raid Day.
How much Fusion Energy can you get from Remote Raids on Pokemon GO Necrozma Fusion Raid Day?
The amount of Solar and Lunar Fusion Energy you get from raids is not dependent on whether you complete the challenge in person or using Remote Raid passes. The only factor to consider is the amount of time you take to defeat the raid boss.

Players who challenge Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma as a group, and have the top counters, stand a chance to earn up to 170 Solar/Lunar Fusion Energy. On the other hand, gamers who try to complete these battles solo or with a few players might get only about 80 Solar/Lunar Fusion Energy.

What causes trainers to not receive Fusion Energy during Pokemon GO Necrozma Fusion Raid Day?
Two factors could lead you not receiving Fusion Energy despite completing the raid successfully:
- The clock strikes 5 pm in the area where the raid is being hosted: This problem could happen whether you take part in these battles in person or using Remote Raid passes. Say, you start the raid at 4:57 pm local time, and by the time the challenge ends, it is 5:01 pm local time. You will still encounter Necrozma, but won't receive any Fusion Energy or enjoy any of the hidden bonuses from the Fusion Raid Day event.
- There is a network or game glitch that kicks you out of the lobby: If you get kicked out of a remote raid due to technical glitches, you won't receive any of the rewards. Contact Niantic Support in this case.
