Appearance
Chinchou is a small, blue and yellow Pokemon that resembles a fish. It has anglers like an anglerfish with yellow eyes that somewhat resemble a button with a cross in the middle. Its antennae curve up from the back of its body where its tail would normally be.
Behavior
Chinchou lure their prey by using the glows of their antennae and these are also used to flash communication to other Pokemon living deep in the sea. They have positive and negative electricity, so it can defend itself and stun prey, whichever is necessary. Chinchou typically lives in the deepest depths of the oceans.
Strengths and Weaknesses
As a Water and Electric type Pokémon, Chinchou is weak against Ground and Grass type moves, and takes twice the normal damage from them. It is not immune to any type Pokemon but is resistant to Flying Ice and Fire types, which will do half the damage. It is also resistant to Steel, which only does a quarter the normal damage.
