Appearance
Taking inspiration from elephants, Copperajah is a big Pokemon and is capable of being over 9 feet tall. However, their most prominent feature is their large nose, which can be used for smashing rocks or pretty much anything else. It has a green body with a light teal underbelly and orange/brown all over its face, and a pattern in the same colour on its ears, feet, trunk, and back. It also has two tusks to help with smashing and three raised, white ridges on the edge of it’s trunk.
Behavior
Copperajahs prefer to live in herds since they are social Pokemon. Their skin is resistant against water, and their trunks are strong enough to crush stone into powder. They are not from Galar, migrating from another country originally.
Strengths and Weaknesses
With a large health pool, Copperajah is able to take a lot of hits before it faints and with a high attack stat, this Pokemon can deal a substantial amount of damage as well. Not only that, its Steel typing means that it is resistant to Fairy, Ice, Rock, Bug, Steel, Grass, Flying, Normal, Dragon and Psychic type moves. However, even with a large health pool, Copperajah has a terrible Speed stat which means that a faster Pokemon with Fighting, Fire, and Ground types moves can easily chip away at its health.
Best moveset for Copperajah
Stealth Rock | Heavy Slam |
Power Whip | Heat Crash |
This moveset relies on Copperajah having the Heavy Metal ability, as it doubles its weight and thus makes a few of the moves more effective. The moves here do more damage the more Copperajah weighs, so in layman’s terms: the bigger it is, the more damage it causes in battle. Stealth Rock injures enemy Pokemon upon entry, making for a nice trap move. Heavy Slam deals damage equivalent to the user’s weight, which is where Heavy Metal comes in. Power Whip is a great grass move and Heat Crash is another weight based move.
