Daramaka Appearance

Darumaka is a round, red Pokémon with stubby arms, legs, and tail. It has three yellow ovals on its abdomen and a curvy yellow line on its back with an orange face and yellow curly eyebrows. Furthermore, its paws are also orange and have three digits each.

Behavior

Darumaka has very warm droppings which ancient people put in their clothes to keep themselves warm. When the flame inside its body burns, Darumaka is very active but it cannot calm down in this state and becomes uncontrollable. As the flame shrinks, it falls asleep, and can tuck in its arms and legs when it rests. While it is sleeping, it cannot be tipped over no matter how much it is pushed or pulled. Lastly, Darumaka prefers to live in a desert environment.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Since it is a Fire-type Pokemon, it is particularly strong against Bug, Steel, Grass, Fire, Ice, and Fairy type moves. However, it is weak against Ground, Rock and Water-type moves.

Galarian Darumaka

Galarian Darumaka

Galarian Darumaka has a thicker coat than regular Darumaka, turquoise ice crystals on its forehead and chest, and blue hands and faces with white fluffy fur. Galarian Darumaka, unlike its regular form, wears a frightened frown rather than a playful smile. Darumaka, a Galarian, possesses an organ that creates chilly air rather than fire. Darumaka grows more active as the temperature drops. They can concentrate their internal energy to exhale cold air in the form of snow, which they utilize to produce snowballs as ammunition in friendly snowball battles. Moreover, a Galarian Darumaka likes to consume Snover's Berries. Galarian Darumaka is an Ice-type Pokemon as compared to its Unovan counterpart.

Best Moveset

IncineratePsychic
Fire FangOverheat

Darumaka is not a good PvP Pokemon. It has a max CP of 1,442, an attack of 153, a defense of 86, and 172 for stamina. Your main goal is to work towards having it evolve into its significantly stronger form, Darmanitan. Incinerate is the best on defense due to its incredible base power while Psychic as a 2-bar move can be used frequently, and provides strong neutral damage. Offensively, Fire Fang can deal plausible damage while Overheat enables Darmanitan to fulfill its Fire-type role and is recommended.

How to catch Darumaka in Pokémon Go?

To catch Darumaka, you need to free up some of the incubators since you can only obtain Daramuka by hatching it from one of your eggs. You need to hatch it from a seven-kilometer one, which is a bit different because you can only receive them from gift packages and friends. If you’re looking to acquire one, you may want to reach out to your friends in Pokémon GO to send you a gift package and ask as many other trainers as possible for the best chance. The more seven-kilometer eggs you have, the higher chances you have of having Darumaka hatch from one of them.

FAQs

How do you evolve Darumaka in Pokemon GO?

You need 50 Darukama candy to evolve it into a Darmanitan, so make sure to reach out to your friends in Pokémon GO to request more gift packages because you’re going to need all of them. The more Darukama you hatch, the more candies you can receive.

Conclusion

Congratulations! You just learnt about this fifth generation Fire-type Pokemon and its alternate Ice Type Galarian form. It is worth mentioning that Daramuka isn’t an exceptionally favored pick in PvP battles due to having the lowest Special Attack base stat of all Fire types.
