Appearance
Dracozolt is similar to a dragon with a small upper body and a massive lower body. It has two huge legs that have two pink stripes on them with two yellow wings that symbolize its Electric typing. It has a long neck that connects to a raptor-like head and has two closed eyes with a red spot on each cheek. The small upper half is connected to the middle of the oversized body. The lower body is pink and green while the upper body is mostly yellow and it has a green tail with pink stripes and spikes.
Behavior
Dracozolt generates electricity out of its powerful tail and allegedly went extinct due to overeating the plant-based sources of food in its ecosystem. This is likely not true because it does come from two different fossils (Drake and Bird) that are combined.
Strengths and Weaknesses
As a dual type Electric/Dragon Pokemon, Dracozolt is weak to Ground, Ice, Dragon and Fairy type moves and will take twice the normal damage from them. It is not immune to any type of Pokemon but is resistant to Flying, Steel, Fire, Water and Grass types, which will do half the damage. It is also resistant to Electric types which will only do a quarter of the damage.
Best moveset (Dracozolt)
Dracozolt has a lot of strong moves including Hyper Beam and Giga Impact, which are moves that have 150 power and 90% accuracy. Here are Dracozolt’s best moves: Both Giga Impact and Hyper Beam prohibits the user from moving next turn if it is successful. Outrage lasts 2-3 turns and will confuse the target while Earthquake does double damage on Dig and hits all adjacent Pokemon.
Giga Impact | Outrage |
Hyper Beam | Earthquake |
How to catch Dracozolt in Pokemon Go?

FAQs
Is Dracozolt in Pokemon Go?
No, not right now. Dracozolt made its debut in Pokemon Sword and Shield and has yet to transition over to the hit mobile game from Niantic.
Where is Dracozolt in Pokemon Sword and Shield?
Dracozolt can be acquired in Pokemon Sword and Shield on Route 6. Cara Liss will revive Pokemon with her machine that will require two fossilized parts. For Dracozolt this is Fossilized Drake and Fossilized Bird. These can be found in various places or dug up in the Wild Area.
Why did Dracozolt go extinct?
They say it overate and destroyed its only plant-based food source, but since it does get revived from two different fossils it’s unlikely. The true story remains unknown.
Conclusion
Dracozolt is a new addition to the Pokemon family. The Fossil Pokemon is revived in Pokemon Sword and Shield using a Fossilized Drake and a Fossilized Bird. This can be done with Cara Liss on Route 6 and remains the only way to get a Dracozolt in any Pokemon game.
