Gigalith is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, that evolves from Boldore when traded and it is the final form of Roggenrola. The first appearance of Gigalith was in Ash Versus the Champion! where it was rampaging across a village. Alder was able to stop it with his bare hands, and he later discovered that Gigalith's rampage was caused by a nail trapped in the bottom of one of its feet.

Appearance
Gigalith is a four-legged blue Pokémon with a variety of spiky, crystal-like red characteristics protruding from its body. It has gray joints and red crystalline characteristics on its limbs, with two claws on each leg that have similar traits. Each of its ears has a red eye while on its face, there are three crystalline characteristics below its eyes and the central one looks like a crest and other crystals on the sides of its head.
Behavior
Gigalith compresses energy in its center, allowing it to unleash assaults capable of sweeping mountains away. The sheer intensity of the blast causes many cracks on its body when it fires these strikes at full strength. It can also store sunlight in its orange crystals, magnify it within its body and blast massive energy balls from its mouth that can demolish dump trucks, however, this ability is lost at night or when it rains.
It dwells underground in caves and tunnels. Gigalith is a tough Pokémon with a lot of power who is popular among construction and mining workers. It collaborates with Copperajah on construction projects and mines in Galar.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Since Gigalith is a Rock-type Pokemon, it is strong against Normal, Flying, Poison, and Fire-type moves and takes only half the normal damage from them. In contrast, it is weak against Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water and Grass-type moves.
Best Moveset
Gigalith is a plausible choice as a Rock Type attacker but it does lag behind many of its contemporaries; especially the Rampardos. It can be a good budget option if you happen to get a good one as it doesn't need event moves, isn't a Legendary, doesn't need a special evolution item and can be evolved for free if traded. On defense it's bulky, but a bit too easy to exploit due to Rock's plethora of weaknesses.
Mud-Slap is generally the better choice for defense because it hits so many types for Super Effective damage. Rock Slide is the move of choice next to Mud-Slap as Rock and Ground are fairly synergetic together. Heavy Slam and Super Power can fit with either Fast Move, though they may tend to be a bit less effective.

How to catch Gigalith in Pokémon Go?
To catch Gigalith, players need to find Roggenrola. Roggenrola can be found in the wild in partly cloudy weather conditions which will boost its spawn rate due to being a rock type. They can be found in 5km eggs, Research Encounters and Raids too. It evolves into Boldore when fed 50 candies and its final evolution is Gigalith.
