In Generation VI, Goomy debuted as a Dragon-type Pokémon and evolves into Sliggoo at level 40, which further evolves into Goodra at level 50 when leveled up in the overworld during rain (or fog in Generation VII). It made it’s debut in the anime in the episode “A Slippery Encounter!” where it was caught by Ash. Later in the episode “An Oasis of Hope!”, Goomy evolved into a Sliggoo.

Appearance
Goomy is a Pokémon with beady black eyes that looks like a slug or slime. The lower half of its body is a bright purple color, while the top part is a lighter purple color. There are five big green dots at the dividing line between the two hues and the front part of this line is the mouth with it located just below its eyes. Two sets of antenna-like horns protrude from the top of its head with the hind pair longer than the front pair and these sensitive horns are used to monitor the environment.
Behavior
Goomy is the weakest of the Dragon-type Pokémon and it has a body that is mainly water, with a germ-infested mucous membrane covering it. Physical assaults are deflected harmlessly by this slimy coating but if its body dries up, it will be unable to breathe and will die. As a result, it prefers wet, gloomy environments. Goomy's horns are equipped with sophisticated sensors that let it detect any hint of an attacker, allowing it to survive any threat. Its food consists of leaves, as seen in the anime.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Since Goomy is a Dragon type Pokemon, it is weak against Ice, Dragon and Fairy-type moves. It Is resistant against Fire, Water, Grass and Electric-type moves. Furthermore, if it has the ability Sap Sipper, then Goomy is immune to Grass-type moves. However, it still fails to accomplish much else because of its lack of effective recovery options and a low Special Attack stat.
Best Moveset
Goomy's Draco Meteor is so powerful that two Draco Meteors will always out-damage two Dragon Pulses, even with the Special Attack drop. The second slot is up to you, and is selected based on what you don't want to switch in on Goomy: Sludge Wave hits incoming Fairy-types, Rest provides the recovery necessary to prolong Goomy's defensive utility while Sleep Talk keeps Goomy from being total setup bait during the two turns of sleep from Rest. However, Goomy is still set up bait for the most part because of its weak attacks and its reliance on picking the correct attacking option to do any meaningful damage.

How to catch Goomy in Pokémon Go?
Goomy is a Dragon-type Pokémon from the Kalos region. It evolves into Sliggoo when fed 25 candies and its final evolution is Goodra. Since its debut, the spawn rate of this Pokemon is pretty low as the only place you will be able to find it is in the wild. Since it's a dragon type, the most common locations for dragon-type Pokemon to spawn are golf courses and landmarks. Landmarks can be famous bridges or tourist destinations i.e. places where lots of people gather or places that have a lot of historical value are well loved by dragon Pokemon. There is currently no word if this Pokemon will begin to appear in eggs or raid battles, and thus to increase your chances of finding one, there are two different methods.
Lure Module: Place this at a PokeStop to increase the spawn rate of all Pokemon. Since the event is focused on Dragon and Fairy-type Pokemon, these will likely appear more. With a bit of patience, Goomy should make an appearance.
