Guzzlord Appearance

Guzzlord is a colossal black Ultra Beast that has has a spherical primary body with a big, bright mouth in the center. Two rows of teeth line the top and bottom of the mouth; the front row is yellow, while the back row is black while two teeth in the second row of the upper jaw bend out of the mouth like tusks. The interior of its mouth has a vivid blue color and its neck is laced with tiny spikes as is its huge black tongue. Even when its mouth is closed, additional tongues that resemble long arms with pincers emerge from its bottom jaw.

Two bright blue eyes with a yellow diamond-shaped marking between them lie just above its lips. Above each eye is a single, bat-like wing with yellow along the upper edge. There are other small bat-like wings down the sides of its body as well and on the underside of its body there are three, fin-like projections that curve up towards its mouth. Guzzlord's torso is supported by three claws and a pair of sturdy legs with yellow zigzag patterns across the knees. A tiny, conical head sits atop its body, and it has a second, smaller pair of blazing blue eyes. A ring of four small horns with golden ends surrounds its head.

A bigger, somewhat curved horn on either side of its head is similarly yellow-tipped and on top of its torso, it has a pair of arms. Each arm features three yellow clawed hands while its back and tail are covered in a series of tiny spikes. The tail itself resembles a medieval mace and extends from the middle of its back.

Behavior

Guzzlord is reported to have a texture like firm rubber. To feed, it moves its tongue in a wave-like way, attracting food to its mouth and it has been said that it consumes whole mountains and structures. Its continuous hunger leads it to consume anything within reach of its two pincer-like tongues. Despite its voracious eating, no evidence of droppings has ever been discovered as it is thought that Guzzlord turns everything it eats into energy, leaving no waste behind.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Guzzlord is a dual Dark/Dragon-type Pokemon who is strong against Psychic-type moves and takes no damage from them but it is also strong against several other move types. That includes Ghost, Dark, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric types and it takes only half the damage from them. In contrast, it is weak against Fighting, Bug, Ice and Dragon types taking twice the damage from each and weakest against Fairy-type, taking four times the normal damage.

Best Moveset

Guzzlord is a dangerous wall breaker capable of quickly exploiting typical defensive cores with its strong offensive presence and huge HP. Guzzlord's offensive skills let it take on specific Pokemon, allowing it numerous chances to switch in and put pressure on enemy teams.

Draco Meteor is a ridiculously powerful STAB move that can strike non-Dragon-resistant Pokemon rather severely; however, the move's consistency is hampered by the fact that it lowers Guzzlord's Special Attack by two stages. On the other hand, Guzzlord's secondary STAB move, Dark Pulse, is more dependable and spammable than Draco Meteor. Pokemon which resists both of Guzzlord's STAB types are all hit by Fire Blast and lastly, Sludge Bomb is particularly effective against Fairy-types, like Aromatisse and Mega Audino, while also providing Guzzlord with a more consistent way of taking out Whimsicott.
