Sewaddle will appear in Pokemon GO during the Community Day on October 5, 2024. Sewaddle is a featured Pokemon in the event, and you may wonder how you can evolve it into Swadloon and Leavanny. These creatures are Bug- and Grass-type species that originally hail from the Unova region. You need Candy to trigger their evolution processes.

Some of the known ways to get your hands on Sewaddle are to catch it in the wild, complete research tasks, hatch eggs, take GO snapshots, defeat raids, or trade. Once you have enough Pokemon Candies, you can evolve Sewaddle into Swadloon and Leavanny.

A Sewaddle can evolve into a Swadloon in Pokemon GO by consuming 25 Candies. You can follow the same procedure to evolve your Shiny Sewaddle into Shiny Swadloon.

If you want to farm Pokemon Candies in the game, you can make Swaddle a Buddy Pokemon. One of the roles of a Buddy is to independently look for its own Candies. As a result, the more you walk with it, the more Candies you can make.

How to evolve Swadloon into Leavanny in Pokemon GO

A Leavanny evolves when Swadloon is fed 100 Candies. This means you need 125 Candies in total to evolve a Swaddle into a Leavanny. Keep in mind that a Shiny Swadloon needs 100 Candies to evolve into a Shiny Leavanny.

You can catch wild Sewaddle in any weather conditions to obtain evolution Candies. During the Community Day period, you should try to snap an AR photo to be photobombed by Sewaddle. You can then catch it and get its Candies. Also, remember to take down Swadloon in four-star Raid Battles to get Sewaddle and its Candies.

Outside of Community Day events, make sure to hatch eggs, participate in raids, and trade Pokémon whenever possible. These activities can help you earn Candies.
