Trainers can get their hands on Azumarill in Pokemon GO in multiple ways. The critter's shiny variant is also available in the game and can be obtained if you are lucky. Niantic debuted the Aqua Rabbit Pokemon on February 16, 2017. Meanwhile, its shiny form was introduced as part of the Holiday event on December 18, 2018. Both are Fairy- and Water-type species.

Azumarill is the final evolution of Azurill. This means you can evolve Azurill into Azumarill using Pokemon Candies.

A wild Azumarill can appear in Rainy or Cloudy weather conditions in Pokemon GO. The spawn rate of this Pocket Monster can be boosted if you activate the effect of the Lure Module and Incense.

These items are used differently. While you have to attach the Lure Module to a PokeStop, you should use Incense on your avatar.
